This model has stars forming due to magnetic pinches, similar to the Electric Universe model. But it goes on to say that old stars don't all die in supernovae — some, many, or most of them simply fall off the lower right corner of the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, going from brown dwarfs to black dwarfs, a.k.a., planets.
