1490 Terah was born.

It's possible that he was from India, since several of his ancestors (e.g., Adam, Eve, Shem, Ham, and Japeth) are heroes in Hindu lore (as Adimo, Heva, Sherma, Hama and Jiapheta).1,2:291 It's even possible that he was a Hindu prophet, and that the "Book of Torah" (i.e., the Sefer Torah) was named after him,3:55 though his actual prophesy was not preserved.
