Goldmine * Someone on a nearby thread mentioned this very interesting article, called "An Integrated Alternative Conceptual Framework to Heat Engine Earth, Plate Tectonics, and Elastic Rebound", which is located on this webpage: http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_19_1_tassos.pdf. It goes into great detail and seems to explain a lot. * It says the velocity of S and P waves etc suggests that Earth's deep interior is cool, not hot.
It says "the source of thermal energy of Earth's interior is the radiant heat produced by ... released resonating electrons inside the 10^6 to 10^5 m microfractures, which enable electrons to vibrate harmonically at thermal frequencies".
* Here are brief statements about the electrical nature of earthquakes from the article.
- The Electron Resonance Stimulated by Excess Mass Electrons—ERSEME—process and the dual role of microcracks, (a) as wave harmonically resonant cavities, where radiant heat and other precursory phenomena are produced; (b) as a network of many effective capacitors, connected in parallel electrically, the implosive gravitational collapse of which produces all earthquake shock types, whether deep-focus, shallow focus, tectonic or volcanic. - The catastrophic cavity network collapse which follows discharge is similar to dielectric breakdown and failure of a capacitor. The drop of geoelectric potential and the increased conductivity at the earthquake preparatory stage, that observably culminates co-seismically..., corroborates the logic presented here, that an earthquake itself is fundamentally an electromagnetic phenomenon.
* I don't imagine the article speculates about the Earth getting charged from the solar wind etc, but it does mention also the electrical effects of impacts. I've only skimmed it so far, so there may be yet more gold in that goldmine.

That someone is me Lloyd, and i've posted this paper in page 3 of this thread. If i remember well that was my first post in this forum.
Tassos is a Greek geologist, quite famous few years ago. He is one of the main supporters of the expanding earth hypothesis and since then he is banned from the media over here.
It is really a goldmine because it connects the electric universe with the expanding earth hypothesis by providing a mechanism for the new mass generation that the later needs.
From my point of view, these two theories go hand in hand and should be investigated together. If the expanding earth hypothesis is valid, then there is an ongoing electrical (pincing?) process that generates new mass in possibly all planets and stars that we may be able to observe and if validated then it will be strong evidence for the EU model too.
I'm also connecting his work with the ongoing research about earthquake prediction from electron/ion flows in the ionosphere that i've mentioned in the previous page. This research, because of its very practical nature, could be a very good way of making the EU model more popular. Electrical Engineers seem to lead the way again this time on earthquake prediction (i'm an EE too so i feel the need to say a few good words about my field ).

Re: Electric Earthquakes
* Doureios, glad to have another EE among us. I'm not one, but we have some others here, like FS3. * Do you have time to answer interview questions? * I just copied more of Tassos' material to my flash drive, so I can read it later. Maybe you can help explain his ideas. I noticed that he claims Earth was initially 60% of its present size. He talks about Earth's core growing by transforming elements eventually into iron. I haven't read the details of that yet and don't know if what I copied has more details, but I'd like to understand his ideas better. * Cardona says Earth seems to have both expanded and contracted and the continents slid on the Moho layer. He says the expansion was largely via accretion of detritus from Saturn flares. I like his ideas most, but he's always open to revising his ideas, it seems, when necessary. * I guess this isn't really the place to discuss Earth expansion, unless we discuss how it is involved with making electric earthquakes.

Feelings are mutual
I have time latetly but, Interview questions on what?

Tassos and others that support the EEH suggest that earth was about 60% of its current size about 200 mil. years ago. At that time all continets where merged together into Pangea and if we reduce the size we can see that todays continets fit to one another pretty well for that 60% size Earth. In additions at that time there was practically no Fe that we find now in the Fe rich continental shelves formed in the last 200 mil. years.
They have lots of arguments supporting their hypothesis and destoying the current plate tectonics irrational model.
The idea is that the only mechanism that can explaing what we see is excess mass in the system that makes it grow. This excess mass comes out of a constant fussion mechanism that builds elements at the core starting from the lightest till Fe that is the heaviest.

This is not the case with EEH. In EEH we have a constant expansion from an existing internal mechanism (imagine that whatever process made a planet, it never stopped but keeps going)
The EEH is in my opinion very consistent with the EU model. It suggests that energy from the cosmos transforms to mass just like in the case of electric stars.
* I guess this isn't really the place to discuss Earth expansion, unless we discuss how it is involved with making electric earthquakes.
In the papers by Tassos, earthquakes and their behaviour is one of the major issues. Same holds for the other research i've mentioned by G. Anagnostopoulos about earthquakes and ionospheric electrons flux variations.
IMHO, the EEH, Ionospheric earthquake prediction and the EU model should be investigated together. It appears to me that each one of them supports the other two.

* I thought you might be able to answer some of my questions about Tassos' material etc. If I get time, I'll submit my questions at this thread on Tectonics ... : http://thunderbolts.info/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4366. I don't know if I had any earthquake questions, but, if I do, I'll submit them here. * Thanks much.

Wow this thread seems to have expanded a bit...it's seems almost indisputable that there is a link.
Has anyone done any research into correlations between rising solar activity X Class Flares and Earthquake activity? Excuse if someone has already asked this, haven't had a chance to go through the whole thread.
