Have a look at this Wanderer, ignore the ref to Blue-Beam ... takes a while before it becomes clear what he's on about,... its not reflection from filming through glass according to observer, best images toward the end
This potentially very important video needs to be verified to be showing events over the ocean and not above power lines.

Re: Electric Earthquakes
A new paper from Miles Mathis: What Causes Earthquake lights?
Here, we find evidence just as loud being ignored in full daylight. We have lights linked to earthquakes, and since light is an electromagnetic phenomenon, we must have strong electromagnetic waves present. And yet no one appears to realize that this means that seismic waves cannot be, at bottom, simply material waves. We are taught that seismic waves can be body waves or surface waves, each either transverse or longitudinal, but we are never told what causes these waves.

Blackbird, I saw a video linking Jupiter opposition to major earthquakes....the last 19 times....unrelated to Elenin...but the next one is Apr 10, i think...didnt check if it was factual, but if it is, it is statistically significant.
http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2007AGUSMIN33A..03J Abstract We present the study of 682 earthquakes of ¡Ý4.0 magnitude observed during January 1991 to January 2007 in the light of solar flares observed by GOES and SOXS missions in order to explore the possibility of any association between solar flares and earthquakes. Our investigation preliminarily shows that each earthquake under study was preceded by a solar flare of GOES importance B to X class by 10-100 hrs.

Boom- there it is! How much more confirmation is necessary than that?? o.O

Re: Electric Earthquakes
The terms, "no clear evidence" and, "may" are to be found within the abstract. Also I could find no additional confirming papers. So this is NOT properly enough to convince the skeptics.

Re: Electric Earthquakes
The actual abstract reads:
We present the study of 682 earthquakes of ¡Ý4.0 magnitude observed during January 1991 to January 2007 in the light of solar flares observed by GOES and SOXS missions in order to explore the possibility of any association between solar flares and earthquakes. Our investigation preliminarily shows that each earthquake under study was preceded by a solar flare of GOES importance B to X class by 10-100 hrs. However, each flare was not found followed by earthquake of magnitude ¡Ý4.0. We classified the earthquake events with respect to their magnitude and further attempted to look for their correlation with GOES importance class and delay time. We found that with the increasing importance of flares the delay in the onset of earthquake reduces. The critical X-ray intensity of the flare to be associated with earthquake is found to be ~10-6 Watts/m2. On the other hand no clear evidence could be established that higher importance flares precede high magnitude earthquakes. Our detailed study of 50 earthquakes associated with solar flares observed by SOXS mission and other wavebands revealed many interesting results such as the location of the flare on the Sun and the delay time in the earthquake and its magnitude. We propose a model explaining the charged particles accelerated during the solar flare and released in the space that undergone further acceleration by interplanetary shocks and produce the ring current in the earth's magnetosphere, which may enhance the process of tectonics plates motion abruptly at fault zones. It is further proposed that such sudden enhancement in the process of tectonic motion of plates in fault zones may increase abruptly the heat gradients on spatial (dT/dx) and temporal (dT/dt) scales responsible for earthquakes.
(hightlights mine)
I read this as A) all earthquakes were preceded by a solar flare, B) higher power flare produces earthquakes with less delay between flare and quake, and C) there was no clear correlation between the magnitude of the flare and the magnitude of the actual quake (i.e.- the only clear correlation was with a shorter delay between the two).
At least that's how I read it, anyway.

Re: Electric Earthquakes
Comet Elenin Caused Major Earthquakes! * Maybe it did so by triggering solar flares first. On the Comet Elenin thread at http://thunderbolts.info/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4132&p=50761#p50711 yesterday Komorikid referenced this interesting video. * I suppose there's no reason to think that Comet Elenin might actually be a brown dwarf star, as this video claims, http://www.youtube.com/user/markinportland2008#p/u/3/RnG8Pa0u-4U, but it does show that the last few major earthquakes in Japan, New Zealand and Chile occurred when Earth was aligned with that comet and the Sun. It also shows that we'll be in similar alignment on Sep. 27 and Nov. 5 and we'll be closest to the comet and at a 90 degree alignment on Oct. 17, I think. Looks like we might expect major earthquakes at those times. And the video mentions the possibility of Earth encountering cometary debris starting around Oct 17 or so. * Now how can we find out where the earthquakes are most likely to hit? Earlier it was suggested that California would be the next epicenter, as the pattern started with the eastern lower Pacific, Chile, then the western lower Pacific, New Zealand, then the western upper Pacific, Japan, and finally predicting the eastern upper Pacific, California. But I don't know that there's really much logic in that. * It seems like it would be too hard to predict on the basis of exactly where the alignments triggered solar flares, if they did that.
* This video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be0ow2Jjs9E&feature=youtu.be, says at about 17:40 that the radiation from the Japan nuclear power plants is much worse than that from Chernobyl and that the radiation is heavy even all along the west coast of North America. At around 24 or 25 minutes there was mention that baby teeth from children near nuclear power plants have very high levels of radioactivity. * At about 54 minutes there's suggestion that HAARP has been responsible for these earthquakes. It's conceivable that HAARP activities could be synchronized with Comet Elenin alignments to make it look like the comet is responsible, when it's really HAARP. But it's not yet conceivable to me that HAARP could trigger solar flares that seem to trigger earthquakes. * The more we know, it seems the more complicated things are. Eh?

Re: Electric Earthquakes
Hello All, I did not want to start a new thread, so I am posting this here where it is most relevant. This Morning on MSM, the headline was- 'Remembering Chernobyl, the worlds worst Nuclear Disaster'. I think that Fukushima has surpassed Chernobyl, so educating yourself is key. I live on the west coast, and since a week after the tsunami, I have not Skied, (spring skiing is what I live for) or left the house except for work and necessities. We have also kept our cats inside. better safe than sorry. the lack of info (in the media) is appalling. Also, I think it is safe to surmise that things will get worse before it gets any better. Protect yourself, your friends, family, pets, and anyone with ears to hear, with clay, miso, cilantro, sprouts, kelp, spirulina, chlorella, and wear a hat outdoors. (and stay OUT of the rain!) (a personal radiation test is done on the top of the head). here are some links-
P.S. our prayers and heartfelt good vibes go out to all the people in japan and everyone else affected by this disaster. may they stop the radiation emanations and fallout soon.
