The following image types are supported:

BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG

Options include:

• Upload
  • Click this button to re-upload the image from your local hard-drive.
• Alternate for Black Backgrounds
  • Since QDL users can set their own styles, you'll never know whether the image that you're uploading will be viewed against a white or a black background. Since sometimes it makes a difference, you can upload a second file, to be displayed in place of the first, if the user has a black background.
• This Instance Only
  • Aside from the properties of the image itself (as described above), there are also properties of placement that are instance-specific. These can be set in the Editing Internal Links dialog, but as a convenience, they can also be set here in the Properties dialog. Options include:
    • width & height
    • horizontal alignment
    • automatic figure numbering
