Freezing/Melting
© Jeffrey J Wolynski

When a liquid hardens to its solid state it is called freezing.

When a solid becomes liquified it is called melting.

Both are reliant on temperature and pressure differences as well as all thermodynamic phase transitions.

In the future I do wish to elaborate on these phase transitions because they are so essential to basic physics and star science.
