Rules
This functionality is available to advanced users and above.
 
Here you can define rules for handling incoming emails.
 
name the title of the rule page

conditions:
from some or all of the email address of the sender
to some or all of the address to which the email was sent
subject words appearing in the email subject
message words appearing in the body of the email

actions:
mark as read don't show the email on the top line when it arrives
cut from inbox remove from the pop3 page used the retrieve emails
paste into paste a link into the selected folders
 
Note that if cut from inbox is selected, and you don't select any folders into which to paste the email, it is effectively deleted.
 
Once you have set up a rule, it can then be applied to one or more pop3 pages. Rules are applied in the order in which they are selected, and the first rule that hits is the one that determines which action(s) are taken.
 
It is possible to share rules, but you cannot share your Rules folder, as this is specific to your account. To share a rule, you have to:
  1. Create the rule in your Rules folder.
  2. Set the rights such that others can see it.
  3. Send a PM to those people with a link to the rule, and explain to them that they have to paste the link into their Rules folders.
