The "Post Office Protocol" is for receiving email.

 

Enter the username, password, and domain for your email server. Here are the options that are specific to this protocol:

 

option	description
leave messages on server	Do not delete the email from the server after retrieving, so it can be downloaded through another account somewhere else as well.
automatically check for new email	In the dialog box, you can set how frequently to fetch emails from the server. Checking this box makes that setting apply to this pop3 client.
Rules	Select the Rules that apply to this pop3 client. Rules are applied in the order in which they are selected, and the first rule that hits is the one that determines which action(s) are taken.
