Genesis 26:34-35 Genesis 27:46 Genesis 28:1-5 Genesis 28:6-9	Esau married two Hittite wives, who made life difficult on Isaac & Rebekah. So Rebekah hoped that Jacob wouldn't marry a Hittite as well, and Isaac told Jacob to marry somebody from Rebekah's clan in Mitanni. Then Esau married one of the daughters of Ishmael.
Genesis 27:41-45	Jacob moved to Mitanni, not because he was fleeing Esau's wrath after tricking him out of his birthright, but just because Esau was the heir apparent, and there wasn't anything for Jacob in Canaan.
Genesis 29 Genesis 30	Jacob married Leah and Rachel, and worked for Laban for 20 years.
