Venus is very different from the other planets. It is the only planet that rotates clockwise (looking down from the North Star), and its rotation is slowing down, suggesting that some force is acting on it, which will eventually get it to rotate the same way as all of the other planets.

 

Another difference is that it has the thickest atmosphere of all of the rocky planets.
