Teacher,

 

Another day has passed.

What did I accomplish?

I lived, and I loved.

I wanted to do better,

but I did my best.

Still I wonder...

what would a sage have done?

The day won't be over

until you answer that for me.

Then I won't worry about tomorrow.

It will arrive on time, as usual.

For now, I just want to be at peace,

with myself, and with the world.

To get this, I must understand.

Then I'll be ready for the rest.
