RSS feeds provide a way for webmasters to inform people that changes have been made on their websites. In Firefox, if a webpage has an associated RSS feed, an icon (
) appears in the address bar. Clicking the icon will subscribe you to the feed.
All QDL posts provide RSS feeds. The content of the feed is the last 10 posts that were changed in the hierarchy under the post, going 10 levels deep.
Clicking the
icon in the address bar will show you the feed for that post. This is useful for monitoring changes in a particular branch of the hierarchy. You can also subscibe to the feed, and use your favorite feed reader to keep up with the changes in that branch.
If you don't like using RSS feed readers, you can designate a QDL post to be an RSS feed. See
http data sources for more info.
