If we have to wait for scientific proof, I think it has to be done by the general population and the other side. I believe we have people on both sides trying to bridge that gap as the web site of Victor Zammit shows.  Scientific proof from scientists and the church will not work. I believe they try to opress us more than anything. But, at least we agree that all is saved, which is good.
