The Cult Syndrome
The worst scenario of all involves a manipulative person using the pretext of decent ideas to form a cult. This is an extremely dangerous phenomenon, and can result in the deaths of the cult members. In modern times, when fanatical groups have access to weapons of mass destruction, a cult can kill many more people than just themselves. So we need a thorough understanding of this phenomenon, and we need to be extremely concerned if this pattern emerges.
