The application of neurobiological principles to the behavioral sciences is, at present, purely speculative — we can merely make suggestions and consider the possibilities, and there is little resembling terra firma anywhere within this field of focus. Still, the study of human behavior need not be entirely a priori, nor does it need to be just a statistical discipline — there is a physical substrate, and as time goes on, an emerging understanding of biology will form the foundation for future inquiries.
