LK: didn't you say elsewhere that lightning can produce heavy elements?

You recently stated in a TB forum thread, maybe the Moon thread, that you agreed that lightning can produce heavy elements. Does that square with your statement above where you question the ability of a z-pinch to condense matter? My guess is that you might say it forms heavy ions, which then get neutralized in air, but it doesn't form anything larger than monatoms. Is that your view?
