Observations
  1. The Earth is in a stable orbit around the Sun. Thus the gravitational and centrifugal forces are in equilibrium, yielding no net force (anywhere on Earth).
  2. The Moon should generate a gravitational force, but instead of obeying the inverse square law of gravity, the observed force obeys the inverse cube law (of heuristics).
  3. [We need to review gravimeter readings, and compare them to the observed land/sea tides.1]
